One of the most enjoyable parts of running this blog is highlighting local events happening in the west valley. I know that I’m always looking for something new and fun to do with my family and wish there were more resources available to me. We are glad to be your resource! Today, I want to highlight a few upcoming events, so mark your calendars and join us 🙂 They are in order by date:
DATE: July 26, 2012( 10:00 -11:30AM)
EVENT: Storytime with Starfish (WVMB Play date)
 LOCATION: 16207 N 3rd Avenue, Phoenix 85023
DETAILS:Â Along with a special story time, we will have coloring pages for each child to go along with the books that were read, a room full of toys for the kids to play with afterward, songs, and snacks for everyone!
DATE: July 30, 2012 (10:00-11:00AM)
EVENT: Mommy & Me Mondays with Radio Disney Junior
LOCATION: Arrowhead Towne Center Mall ( in front of JCPenney)
DETAILS: Bring the kiddos to enjoy dancing, crafts, learning, music & more from 10:00-11:00AM! This weeks theme is Handy Manny Toolin” Around Party:)
DATE: Saturday, August 4, 2012- (12:00-4:00pm)
LOCATION: Arrowhead Towne Center Mall (in front of JCPenney)
DETAILS: In celebration of TWINKLE TOES: THE MOVIE on DVD, Arrowhead Towne Center will host a special event on Saturday, August 4th where kids of all ages will have the opportunity to participate in several fun activities and receive free promotional items. In addition to a coloring sheet area, attendees can bedazzle a pink tote bag, get a temporary Twinkle Toes tattoo and may even participate in a dance lesson  with the Marilyn’s Academy of Dance (http://www.madaboutdance.com/) on-site. The event is free and open to the public.
DATE: November 17th & 18th  (10:00-3:00pm both days)
LOCATION: Reach 11 located at 2425 E. Deer Valley Rd. in Phoenix
DETAILS:Â Everything Kids Fest is a two-day family festival featuring live entertainment, special guest appearances and hands-on activities including face painting, domestic and exotic petting zoos, arts & crafts, interactive inflatables and more! The Festival also showcases the latest products and services for parents and children of all ages to enjoy. Everything Kids Fest recently won a 2012 Zonies Award for the Best Festival, Fair or Event Series.

How fun! I really need to master the art of taking both children out in public (aka overcome my fear of) so that Jude can enjoy these fun activities.
